Rosso DOC
Rosso di Montalcino DOC
Grape Variety
100% Sangiovese
Terroir
The vineyards are located in Montalcino, in the “La Mannella” area, and originate from younger vines planted on stony soils with excellent sun exposure. The dry and constantly ventilated climate creates ideal conditions for healthy and balanced grape ripening. The vines are trained using the spur-pruned cordon system, a method that allows careful yield control while enhancing the wine’s quality, concentration, and elegance.

Wine Making
The winemaking process is inspired by the classic principles of Tuscan tradition. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature between 28 and 32 °C, with skin maceration lasting approximately 15 days in order to achieve a balanced extraction of color, aromas, and tannins. The wine is then aged for about one year in 30-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels, developing elegance, harmony, and complexity while fully preserving its varietal and territorial character.
